The Hitching Post Campground offers beautiful grassy sites nestled in the mountains of Lake Lure, North Carolina. Many sites border creeks and/or the pond. All sites have electric, water, fire ring, and picnic table.

The Hitching Post Campground offers RV camping with 30 or 50 amp electric, sewage, water, fire ring, and picnic table.

The Hitching Post Campground offers tent, pop-up, and RV camping. RV camping is available for temporary overnight stays or as year-round lease sites.

From Lake Lure: Take Hwy 64/74 toward Rutherfordton to Hwy 9 South. Travel approximately 0.3 miles and turn right onto Girls Camp Rd. (beside Ingle’s grocery store). Go approximately one miles to the HP on the right.
