This study adds 6 new species i.e Amblypharangodon mola, Salmophasia punjabensis, Labeo rohita, Labeo diplocheilus, Puntius chonchonius and Rasbora daniconius for the 1st time which are not reported earlier.

In these recorded fish fauna only Barilius vagra, Labeo spp, Puntius ticto, Schizothorax plagiostomus, Tor putitora, Mastacembelus armatus were found to matching with the current study conducted on the River Siran [13].
