Aug 19, 2022 · Bought my SMG-45 in October 21 (4AM serial) and had the exact same thing happen. A little unnerving to have it going off randomly right out of the box. My LGS shipped back to LWRC, who did replace the factory trigger with a Geissele, and had it back to me within a week. Has run flawlessly (without accuracy issues thankfully) ever since.

Jul 16, 2022 · LWRC's rail system uses 8-32 screws, M-Lok screws are 10-24. You can still make what OP did work, but please use the correct size screws to avoid the risk of stripping out the slot.
