Jan 31, 2010 · Barnes LRX is a monolithic bullet and these types of rounds require a faster twist rate. Hornady 200/212/220 ELD-X/M do well in a 1:9 or 1:10 because those rounds are lead shanked. Therefore weight distribution and stabilization of the bullet in flight happens at a different rate of speed when exiting the muzzle.
