Jan 31, 2010 · Barnes LRX is a monolithic bullet and these types of rounds require a faster twist rate. Hornady 200/212/220 ELD-X/M do well in a 1:9 or 1:10 because those rounds are lead shanked. Therefore weight distribution and stabilization of the bullet in flight happens at a different rate of speed when exiting the muzzle.

Feb 1, 2020 · The Lrx only has 1 "band" opposed to 2 on the ttsx. I took some measurements with my calipers lrx oal 1.208 base to ogive .620 bearing surface .50...ttsx oal 1.191 base to ogive .510 bearing surface .465.

My 6.5 PRC is shooting the 127 LRX at 3167 Average velocity with the load that gave me the best accuracy.
