Jun 29, 2010 · most LPs now have 500k tone pots and 300k volume pots as standard. I think the heritage models have the 500k all round.. If you have a newer model with a PCB and square plastic pots, the resistance of the pot is actually written on the side of it, saves measuring etc..

Sep 13, 2015 · My vintage 57' LP Junior has a 500K volume pot and a 250K tone pot from the factory = that's why RS makes that kit. I have seen vintage examples with 2 500K pots but I've seen more of the 500/250 combo by a long shot.
