The H&BR Class F3 (LNER Class N13) was a class of 0-6-2T steam locomotives of the Hull and Barnsley Railway. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] They were designed by Matthew Stirling to work goods trains to and from the King George Dock at Hull which opened in 1914.

The NER had 13 electric lomotives, numbered 1-13, but this was in fact in the company's main locomotive list as the lowest-numbered steam locomotive was numbered 14. The NBR owned a petrol shunter, and this was numbered '1' in its own series.

Four Class F3 0-6-2T (LNER N13) locomotives were built in 1913, followed by a further six during the next year. Nine of these engines survived to Nationalisation (1948). BR No. 69114 was the last H&BR locomotive working in the BR period. It was withdrawn from Leeds Neville Hill in 1956.

H&BR 1914 vintage (built Hawthorne, Leslie & Co) Class F3 (LNER Class N13) 0-6-2T 69119 (50B) thought to be at or near Neville Hill depot, Leeds - c.1954. 69119 was withdrawn from Neville Hill shed in July 1955, but scrapping details are not known.
