Jun 13, 2019 · The SR-25 is such a soft shooting platform for a AR-10 rifle. Large frame ARs are not difficult to shoot accurately and that difference in recounting makes them just a bit easier to shoot well. There are other rifles that do some things better than KAC, accuracy being one, but taken as a hole the KAC is much system than the rest.

KAC and LMT use the action system that we're talking about, and have different springs for their large frame rifle length and carbine actions. The most common spring used is an ArmaLite #EA1095, which they use for both rifle and carbine AR-10 actions.

Jun 7, 2019 · I’m running the same set up on an LMT lower with a KAC SR 25 upper, a 6 MM Creedmoor and a 6.5 Creedmoor. They all run great with this set up. I’m using the 5.4 oz H3 buffer but I think KAC uses an H2 buffer weight. Everything I’ve seen with the short/light 308 carbine buffer has issues with cycling, especially in high pressure cartridges.

Aug 8, 2020 · I’m looking to get a semi-auto AR-10 rifle (maybe 2) for the collection. Was thinking a 308 first and maybe a 6.5 Creedmoor as a second. Currently, I don’t have anything this size, and the biggest stuff I have is a KAC SR-15 16” (with another 11.5” upper that I switch out occasionally), my gucci Radian Model 1 14.5”, and a DD PDW 300 BLK.
