LM324 - Electronics Forum (Circuits, Projects and Microcontrollers)
Mar 25, 2006 · The LM324 produces an annoying buzzing 0.3% crossover distortion when it has NO gain, when all its gain is used as negative feedback to try to reduce its crossover distortion. The distortion is much worse when it has some gain.
Help to increase the accuracy of op-amp[lm324] as possible as
Apr 27, 2015 · The LM324 s a very low cost Quad Op Amp, with BJT outputs that suffer from 2-3 V saturation near Vcc but low saturation from Vee rail. For full swing output a CMOS output which has much lower current capability so R's must be scaled accordingly well above 10k . i would stick with R>> 1k on the LM324 and compute all errors sources .

Aug 29, 2011 · Did you also download the LM324.mod file on that yahoo link, I just downloaded the unis and .mod and it works ok without any other actions. Make sure the LM324.mod is in the same folder as the LM324_unis.asc. Lets know EDIT: If you have used the LTS install default folder, place the *.mod file into this folder C:\Program Files\LTC\LTspiceIV\lib\sub

Dec 6, 2010 · The datasheets for the LM324 quad opamp and LM358 dual opamp show a VCO circuit that goes from a very low frequency growl to a fairly high audio pitch. An MC34074 quad opamp (or MC34072 dual opamp) can be used instead in this circuit for a much higher frequency.

Jul 7, 2009 · A load resistor would be connected from the output pin of the LM324 to either ground or +10V. I seem to remember (audiguru will chime in on this) that an LM324 is a particularly crummy opamp for audio because it has a lot of crossover distortion in …
Op-amp, use LM324 for LM741? - Electronics Forum (Circuits, …
May 22, 2011 · Any opamp will work but the LM324 quad or the LM358 dual are nice because they work when the supply is only 3.0V. The circuit is missing parts that control the output amplitude so it will be too much and cause clipping distortion. The LM324 and LM358 are noisy (hiss) and have crossover distortion.
Difference/similarities between LF347 and LM324
May 25, 2010 · The LF347 has at least twice the bandwidth of the LM324, requires 1000 times less input bias current (higher input impedance), slew rate 10 to 20 times faster, among other things. Despite it's advantages over the LM324, the LF347 does have some serious drawbacks that limit it in applications that have rather low supply voltages.

Mar 16, 2009 · I once had a diagram to built a Voltage Control Oscillator out of a LM324. I dont found it anywhere. I try to google without luck. Anyone got a LM324 VCO circuit and shared it ? Thanks. I will like to built a small synth (music instrument) using such oscillator.
RC delay for opamp input: how to calculate
Feb 12, 2025 · The LM324 is an opamp, with a totem-pole output, which will override the timing resistor(s) connected at its output. You need to replace it with a LM339 which does have an open collector output. But then it cannot source current. Your best bet is to split the circuit with a dual comparator and a dual opamp LM393 LM358 respectively.

Mar 10, 2025 · A pcb made according to the schematic (attached below) uses LM324 opamps. With no input signal to the current transformer pin 3 should be low, and pin 2 follows feedback from output pin 1 (high). Two of the opamps give 0.0V on their pin 1, but two opamps measure approx. 2.5V on their outputs...
