Nov 9, 2021 · LG C1/G1 units manufactured in September 2021 or later currently do not allow owners to game in 4K HDR or to watch 4K Blu-rays due to a defect that prevents the TV from recognizing HDCP 2.2-compliant signals on all 4 HDMI ports. LG has announced that a firmware update will fix this issue and that the update will be rolled out in November 2021.

I am using c1 for pc and ps5(just games on ps5). Game optimizer, warm50, sharpness 0 and PC input for both devices. I extensively tested and pc input label is the only way to get full real 4:4:4 from ps5 but only at 60hz.

Mar 23, 2021 · My setup is as follows: C1 with latest firmware (the one from this week, not sure about the version but I think it ends with 36?), fully updated PS5 connected directly to HDMI 1, a Thenaudio SHARC eARC processor connected to HDMI 2 (the eARC port), which itself is connected to a regular HDMI 2.0 input on a Denon 6300H AVR.
