Apr 24, 2011 · As for the possibility of it being in the Camaro, probably never. The LF1 overall doesn't mix in well with CAFE and will be phased out for more economical Turbo-4's. We could see the LF3, a turbo version of the 3.0L, getting in the Camaro though. GM offers both the 3.0L and 3.6L engines in the CTS.
