The department provides correctional programs, disaster services, environmental services, holiday assistance, law enforcement services, substance abuse services and youth services for the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County and contracting cities. first and fourth Saturday of the month, 9:00am to 3:00pm. Forty-two cities in the County, including both Lancaster and Palmdale, contract with the LASD for law enforcement services. In addition all unincorporated areas of the County are patrolled by the LASD.
