The RCH 155 (Remote Controlled Howitzer 155 mm) is a wheeled self-propelled howitzer developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (now known as KNDS Deutschland), a German defence company. The RCH 155 Module takes the firepower and the range of the PzH 2000 by using its gun (155 mm L/52), and combines it with an automated and remotely controlled gun module.

May 16, 2023 · Rheinmetall and Elbit Systems have successfully conducted a live fire demonstration of an automated 155mm L52 wheeled self-propelled howitzer. The demonstration of the new system took place in early March 2023 at the Shivta firing range in southern Israel.

155 mm (6.1 in) is a NATO -standard artillery shell caliber that is used in many field guns, howitzers, and gun-howitzers. It is defined in AOP-29 part 1 with reference to STANAG 4425. The 155 mm (6.1 in) caliber originated in France after the Franco-Prussian War (1870–1871).

May 16, 2023 · The L60 is a 155mm 60-caliber artillery gun being developed by Rheinmetall to meet the future requirements of European artillery units. The L60 features a significantly larger chamber and a longer 60-calibre barrel.

The Artillery Gun Module (AGM, Artillerie-Geschütz-Modul) is an air-portable 155 mm self-propelled howitzer designed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. It is based on technology used in the German Army Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000) system, to provide more air portable self-propelled artillery, transportable by Airbus A400 aircraft.

May 17, 2023 · Through the partnership, Elbit’s fully-robotic artillery turret was integrated with Rheinmetall’s 155mm L52 gun and electronic components for the fire control unit and sensor suite. The weapon was then mounted onto a Rheinmetall HX 10×10 tactical military truck.

The PzH 2000* self-propelled howitzer – armed with a 155 mm L52 main gun developed by Rheinmetall – is widely held to be most advanced, most effective artillery system anywhere. Extremely accurate and highly reliable, the PzH 2000 achieves a high rate of fire owing to its automatic loading system.
