Kurapika is very well written, the way Togashi uses his character is brilliant, and when he and Leorio went missing for so long during the greed island and chimera ant arcs were really sad for me. I want to learn more about him. By the time Kurapika is back on the screen, he's got all those eyes of his clansmen, and he's ignoring Leorio's calls.
