Feb 25, 2021 · I read some of the other comments and my take on Kurama remaining single in YYH is due partly to past history, in this case, his classmate, Maya. Here is a girl who has some spiritual awareness and Kurama does seem to have some feelings for her.

Maya Kitajima (喜多嶋 麻弥 Kitajima Maya) is a classmate at Kurama's junior high school one year before the start of the series. She first appeared in Yu Yu Hakusho Manga vol. 7, chapter 9. She is infatuated with Shuichi Minamino and also has a keen sense of spiritual perception.

Kurama and Hiei's names came to Togashi on the spur of the moment. [1] . When the two were introduced, the author had early plans to make Kurama a main character but was uncertain about Hiei. [5] . Togashi based Hiei's design off of the character Skunky from the manga series Patalliro! by Mineo Maya. [6] .

Apr 25, 2020 · Only Yusuke and Keiko end up actually together. Kuwabara obviously loves Yukina, but as much as I love them as a ship, she technically hasn’t shown any sign of returning his feelings. So just the one. Some people ship Hiei/Mukuro but I interpreted it as more of a mentor/student thing, like the relationship Genkai has with Yusuke.
