Kumo is an organization member who trained Hibiki and Alice. Upon realizing Alice suffered from Congenital Excessive Concentration as he did, he kidnapped her and gave strict training for Alice to control her ability and become an assassin.

Fuji Alice is the main protagonist of Arachnid. After the loss of her family members, she is taken in by a man named Kumo who trains Alice to come an assassian like himself. When Kumo is later ordered to disspose of Alice, she is forced to kill her master as he treatens her life.

Kumo is an assasin of the organization, nicknamed "Arachnid". At the beginning of the series, he received the order to kill Yoshio and Alice. However, noticing her abilities, he instead took her in and trained her to kill, because "it's worth putting her to use" and "he can kill her any time".

One day, Alice witnesses the death of her uncle by the hands of an assassin called "Kumo" ("Arachnid" in Japanese). She then falls unconscious, and upon waking up, she finds out that she's in Kumo's house. Now, this Alice who no longer has any family is being raised by the assassin himself.

Given how Kumo's murder of Yoshio prevented him from raping her, Alice is practically thankful to Kumo for it. Mudake is introduced while surrounded by unconscious girls he's heavily implied to have raped.

She symbolically cannibalizes her parent Kumo by killing him, like an infant spider would. Alice is mainly a Salticidae spider because she really, really likes jumping at people even if it rarely works.
