Kudos 2 - Positech
Kudos is a turn-based game that puts you in control of a single character and manages their life from age 20 to 30. You get to pick their friends, their job, and how they spend their free time, but there is a catch! You can only choose to do one thing each day, or two at the weekends. This makes Kudos 2 a game of agonizing choices.
Kudos 2 is now on steam! omg. – Cliffski's Blog - Positech
Sep 20, 2023 · Kudos 2 was the first game that was a proper success for me. I remember when it was on all the casual game portals, like iwin and yahoo games etc, getting a check for $20,000 one month, which was insane for a ‘shareware’ game developer. These days thats 10minutes royalties for Rimworld :D. Kudos 2 is a pretty interesting game.

Kudos 2 is a pretty interesting game. It was one of my actual good ideas. The sims was a great game, but it was mostly a game of urgent problem solving and time management. It was a life-simulation game, but it was only ONE way to do the idea of a life simulation game.

Feb 2, 2009 · Kudos is none of these. Some might consider it a strategy game, but many sites assume a strategy game is an RTS, or at least some sort of combat or war game. Most strategy sites are bulging with screenshots of Elves and Tanks, hardly the same genre as Kudos 2. Then there are the casual sites, where the taregt market for Kudos 2 also overlaps.
Gratuitous Tank Battles
Gratuitous Tank Battles is the PC strategy game, developed by Positech Games, makers of Democracy, Kudos and of course Gratuitous Space Battles. Oct 18, 2012 · The Sims can be turn based (see Kudos) A game can have no ‘game world’ at all (see Democracy) A space battle RTS can have no player control (see GSB) and there are much bigger examples too: The object of an FPS can be not to kill (See Thief ), health packs can be made redundant, with auto-regenerating health (wasn’t that Call of Duty 4 ?).
Democracy 4 - The ultimate political strategy game - Positech
We have a totally revamped user-interface, tons of new policies, situations and events, new graphics, a far richer and more complex simulation, and incorporated tons of 2020s-style political messaging into our game :D. Democracy 4 lets you take the role of President / Prime minister, govern the country (choosing its policies, laws and other ...
Kudos 2 On Sale NOW! – Cliffski's Blog - Positech
Oct 1, 2008 · The game is set at $19.95 which is a price that’s just low enough that it makes me panicky and Fidgety. I’m hoping that all the feedback I got about the price of games actually makes sense and that more people buy a $19.95 game than would buy a $29.99 one. (and a big enough difference as to end up making more overall).

May 21, 2019 · Kudos:Rock legend couldn’t decide if it was serious or casual. Kombat kars was hampered by my total lack of understanding physics programming. Space battle 3001 looked like someones first space game, and played like it too. There is an absolute art form, to which many devs acquire olympic style skills, to come up with reasons that your game ...
