Dec 18, 2020 · I added the rhb31 turbo with a big intercooler on my L185DT, the ancient kubota with a 700cc engine. I think it was definitely worth it. It's hit high enough boost to open the wastegate (between 7 and 10psi)

Nov 8, 2015 · Turbos only need cool down if they are running full tilt for extended periods. Even then cool down time is measured in seconds. My twin turbo BMWs are smart enough to keep turbo oil/coolant flowing if turbo temps are high enough to merit it. Dan

Jul 15, 2012 · Not sure on room in your engine compartment but Kubota made a D1105T which is a turbo version of your engine. If you want you could look at the factory manifold and turbo setup and see if it will fit.

Aug 16, 2013 · Turbos are sized on air-flow and boost pressure. Multiply out engines rpm and displacement and you'll get a quick idea of the sizing. Generally petrol turbo engines spin about twice as fast as diesels so are suitable for diesel engines twice the size. I have the turbo from a 1.8 litre Nissan petrol on my 3.9L 4BD1T.
