The Supreme Intelligence ultimately appointed him "Supreme Accuser of the Kree Empire". He is known simply as "Ronan the Accuser". On his first mission, Ronan is sent to Earth to investigate the destruction of a robotic Kree Sentry at the hands of the Fantastic Four.

Ronan and his companions traveled to Kree-Lar which at the time was still overtaken by the Annihilation Wave. He managed to take down Ravenous and gained access to the Kree Imperial Palace where around 15,000 Sentries resided in a secret chamber.

Due to this defeat, the Kree sent their main agent Ronan the Accuser to Earth. [3] A Kree Senior Field Grade Officer, Colonel Yon-Rogg, managed to get access to the Sentry and reactivated it. Yon-Rogg was the commander of a Kree reconnaissance mission on Earth, and also an enemy of one of his own Junior Field Grade Officers, Captain Mar-Vell. [4] .

When the Fantastic Four defeated the Kree Sentry 459, the Supreme Intelligence sent Ronan to Earth to punish them personally. Ronan quickly located the Four and teleported them inside his “cone of impenetrability” to prevent outside interference from other hostile humans.

Ronan sent the Sentry to capture Mar-Vell, and had him brought to his base in Alaska. Brainwashing the Avenger Goliath to aid them, Ronan, the Sentry and Goliath fought the Avengers, but through the efforts of Rick Jones, their base was terribly damaged.

Designed by the extraterrestrial Kree, Sentry 459 is a robot that guards military outposts and depots throughout the Kree Empire and beyond, and is most often assigned to Earth where it battles the First Family and the planet’s mightiest heroes.

Ronan's first encounter with Earth heroes was when the Fantastic Four defeated Kree Sentry #459. The Supreme Intelligence sent Ronan to judge the Fantastic Four for the crime of destroying the Sentry, but despite his great power the superhero team successfully repelled Ronan, forcing him to retreat.

Sentry is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in July 1967. It is one of a series of giant humanoid robots called Kree Sentries built by the Kree. The most prominent Sentry, Sentry-459, is an enemy of the Fantastic Four and Captain Marvel.

When the immeasurably powerful Black Vortex weapon resurfaces, the Kree send Ronan and the Accuser Corps to reclaim it from the teen X-Men and the Guardians of the Galaxy. A protracted battle ensues, with the Kree edging out a victory.
