Koji Koda (口 (こう) 田 (だ) 甲 (こう) 司 (じ) Kōda Kōji?), also known as the Petting Hero: Anima (ふれあいヒーロー アニマFureai Hīrō Anima?), was a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Eight years later, Koji has graduated from U.A. High School alongside his classmates, becoming a Hero as a sidekick to Tentacole. [2][5]

Since childhood, Koji Koda has been a shy person, and always loved animals, due to his Anivoice Quirk he inherited from his mother. At one point, his mother told him that one day, he would get horns that would allow his Quirk to reach more animals from even further away.
