Nov 25, 2019 · Kondo doesn’t have any integrated SUT in any of their phono stages or phono stages that are integrated in a preamp (M7 Heritage) or integrated amp (Overture). The SUTs are a standalone unit, as it were in the whole history of Kondo. The M7 Phono is just a MM phono stage with one RCA input and one RCA output.

Mar 20, 2017 · I almost decided to try a stand-alone M7 phono stage (This set up was recomended by a number of audiophiles including Kondo-san himself). My current set up is Kondo Ongaku as power amp + VTL 7.5 Refernce Preamp + Sutherland monoblock phono stage. (I use Ongaku as integrated amp without VTL 7.5 from time to time).

However, I had to give the UTC step-up back to my friend, and I am contemplating another option.
