Koda Kumi (倖田來未) is a pop singer. Her career began in 1999 when she auditioned for avex dream 2000. She debuted in November 2000 in America under the name KODA with TAKE BACK, and the single was released in Japan the next month. On December 13, 2011, she announced her marriage to BACK-ON member KENJI03.
