Oct 1, 2024 · I imagine it would work with the street version, too since same motor. Would give it a nice kick in torque and hp. Usually the BBK increase compression ratio along with the increase in cc's. 35cc more and a higher CR might take that engine from 20 hp at crank to 24 hp at crank and from 17.1 hp at rear tire to 21 hp at rear tire.

Dec 18, 2023 · There isn't much performance to be gained with this motor. I purchased my KLX230R because it is so simple and easy for me to maintain. Not sure adding a power commander and race exhaust would do much more than add a HP or two with a lot more noise and reduced range. Probably better to start with a bike that makes the power you want.

Aug 18, 2019 · Looking at some upgrades for my KLX140G and I want to replace the stock exhaust system. FMF and Pro Circuit seem to be the most readily available with the Pro Circuit being less expensive. I know FMF quality anybody have experience with the Pro Circuit system?

Jun 14, 2022 · What really helped my KLX big bore start better was a new carb. I got the SmartCarb SC2 for mine and once it is adjusted right it starts very easy. Fueling is so much better and with the SC2, I had the 28 mm which flows more air. Also, there is the Mikuni or the Keihin which cost much less $$ than the SC2.

The mount holes are there. It fits. Looking For: 1. Possibly a tall seat foam kit. 2. Damper. Potential Upgrades If Neeed: 1. Fork Springs.
