The Computer Science and Engineering Department was established in the year 1997 and is four times accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The department is a recognized Research Centre under Anna University, Chennai. M.E (CSE) Programme was started since Academic year 2010-11.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering has three different spacious laboratories, each provided with high-end systems.
