Nov 19, 2024 · The Kinzua Sky Walk extends out 624 feet into the Kinzua Gorge offering panoramic views. The skywalk features a walkway with a set of railroad tracks leading to the end of the overlook which has a partial glass floor.

This 1.1 mile trail offers a scenic hike from Kinzua Beach to Rimrock Overlook. From the overlook, visitors and hikers will be treated to outstanding views of the Allegheny Reservoir and surrounding hillsides. Explore the area's giant sandstone boulders, crevasses, and rock outcrops.

The skywalk gives close-up views of the viaduct and wide views of the Kinzua Creek Valley. The overlook is excellent for viewing the skywalk and the valley. Both views are great for viewing fall foliage, which peaks the first two weeks of October.

This pedestrian walkway, which extends 600 feet out onto the Kinzua Gorge, features an octagon shaped overlook with a partial glass floor that provides stunning 8-mile forest vistas. Prime fall foliage viewing is the last week of September and the first three weeks of October.

The 339-acre Kinzua Bridge State Park, located in McKean County, is the home of the reinvented Kinzua Viaduct. The Viaduct, once the longest and tallest railroad stru cture at 2,053 feet long and 301 feet high, was partially destroyed by a tornado during 2003.

Rimrock Overlook offers a scenic view of the Kinzua Bay. The best time to visit is at sundown as the effects of the sun is quite spectacular at that time. There are stairs that go down at the foot of the rock and a path leads all the way to the river.
