After 30 years of wanting to work on a pinball machine, I finally got a Gottlieb King Kool last week from Facebook marketplace. The machine is in good shape and basically worked after I fixed the short in the reset circuit.

4) I’m not familiar with King Kool, but the 3/5 ball setting is usually done by changing a Jones plug. Could the connectors be dirty? If you leave the Jones plug disconnected, what setting does it default to?
