So far, the best costume I have made for my kids is a clock. My 3 yr old son wanted to be a grandfather clock. I found a box that was a little bit wider than him. I painted it black and slipped it over his head. I then cut holes in the sides for his arms. I cut a hole in the front for his face which I surrounded with black craft foam.
