Jan 17, 2013 · For the earliest Ki-84's such as the preproduction airframes that went to the 29th Sentai in 1944, those may have had aotake cockpits. The interim production cockpits may have been painted in a dark green very similar to if not the same as the exterior color.

Mar 15, 2001 · Included in the Ki84 package is a 4" x 6" size scrap of paper. It is a b/w xerox copy of three partial view sketches of a Frank. All three views are repeated from the main color data sheet but two have been slightly altered.

The cockpit proper, consists of a large single piece floor, beautifully cast, with some very nice details. Seat is also very nice, with lightening holes and these are lightly covered with resin flash that will need to be cleaned up.

Dec 18, 2019 · I was unhappy with the fit of the mounting points for the cockpit. There were serious gaps where the pit sidewalls didn't mate to my satisfaction. So I removed them and I am sanding so as to get a better fit.
