Jan 27, 2015 · With a little research I learned about “young head” vs “old head” KG2’s, and I’m confident this is a Young Head (1729-1739). But the Britannia side is pretty toasted, and where the date would be is clearly warn away (the coin is only 26.5mm in diameter and should be 28mm), so I’ll never get a clear date.
