Η Κερατέα είναι πόλη της Αττικής, που ανήκει διοικητικά στον Δήμο Λαυρεωτικής. Βρίσκεται στα νότια της Αττικής, χτισμένη στους βόρειους πρόποδες του Πανείου Όρους σε υψόμετρο 200 μέτρων. Απέχει 40 χιλιόμετρα από την Αθήνα με την οποία συνδέεται μέσω της λεωφόρου Λαυρίου και 16 χιλιόμετρα από το Λαύριο.
