In the Wellington ending there is a chance that Kenny is alive somewhere, but the Kenny ending gives him the peace and family time that he deserved. He admits it is the happiest he has been in a long time. This time of contemplation and redemption for Kenny is worth more than anything for me. Plus, the Kenny ending gives you an extra flashback.
