Keelung (/ k iː ˈ l ʊ ŋ / kee-LUUNG; [3] Chinese: 基隆; pinyin: Jīlóng; Hokkien: Ke-lâng), Chilung or Jilong (/ dʒ iː ˈ l ʊ ŋ / jee-LUUNG; [3]), officially known as Keelung City, is a major port city in northeastern Taiwan.
