Feb 10, 2018 · Very good kayak for the price point. If you purchase one with a stock seat, definitely upgrade it. Id also buy 4 scupper plugs for when the weather colder if you dont buy a raised seat. My ass stayed wet with out the scupper plugs before I bought the raised seat.

Keep in mind it may mean having to jump on board a large enough boat to bring your kayak along. There are no fences and people do catch sailfish and blackfin from the piers but your chances there are extremely slim.

No holes drilled in the kayak itself (just mounting holes in the box) Only takes a few minutes to install. Another great idea, simple but great, in my opinion.

I was wondering what type of fish I might be able to shoot for in that area and where I might be able to find them. It was a solo shark fishing trip that came together for me at the last minute so that added a bit of extra intimidation to the kayaking.
