K-32, also known as the Kaw Valley Scenic Highway, is an approximately 32.2-mile-long (51.8 km) east–west state highway in the Kansas City metropolitan area of Kansas.

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) multi-phase project began in October 2022 and includes the replacement of the eastbound and westbound K-32/Turner Diagonal Freeway bridges over Kaw Drive and the Union Pacific Railroad lines.

Mar 16, 2023 · After a scheduled winter shutdown period, work at the K-32/Turner Diagonal Freeway/Kaw Drive interchange has resumed in Wyandotte County.

Kaw River State Park is the only urban park in Kansas’ state park system, consisting of 76 acres of land along the south bank of the Kansas River in west Topeka. The area is mostly oak-hickory forest overlooking the Kansas (Kaw) River and is adjacent to MacLennan Park and Cedar Crest (the governor’s residence) to the east.

Kaw Lake is a reservoir completed in 1976 in the northern reaches of the U.S. state of Oklahoma, near Kaw City which is located on a hill overlooking the lake. The lake is approximately 8 miles (13 km) east of Ponca City. [1] Newkirk is 6 miles (9.7 km) west of the upper end of the lake.

Once you enter Kaw River State Park, follow the road to the access ramp. Access Information: There is a wide concrete ramp and a paved parking lot marked for 20 or more vehicles.

The gravel road runs past the Kaw Agency ruins and the trail though the park starts 200 yards north of the ruins. A map and trail guide may be obtained at the Kaw Mission in Council Grove.
