Kava pills and supplements are often marketed as kava kava, possibly because seeing the name twice is better to stick in people's brains. It also helps the word "kava" be more visible on shelves, even if the product is rotated.

Jun 5, 2014 · Add kava into the mix, and you really need to be drinking much water. I usually drink around an extra liter or liter and a half (~35-50 oz) after drinking kava. You shouldn't be chugging water right after drinking kava, but over the hours after drinking kava, you should also definitely be sipping on water as much as possible.

I think its increasing the blood levels of it in my body then when the kava stops doing that I go into withdrawal from K@ as I'm no longer sustaining that same amount. Please be aware of this everyone. Kava is great, but if you are taking medications or other drugs avoid mixing them for too long.

It was also brought out in the book "Kava The Pacific Elixor" by Dr. Lebot on page # 71. There are some kava dealers that might not sell good kava so you do have to be aware.

There reallly is a different Kava for each occassion, and that is what I'm finding out know. Until now, I've only enjoyed the heavy micronized kavas.
