This package is a walkthrough of the process of setting up Kano OS for the first time. It is designed to guide the user through the setup process including: Configuring their hardware setup (display and audio settings for example)

Kano OS is a specific system, entirely designed for children from 6 years old and above. As it is based on Raspberry Pi OS, it is possible to install the system on a Raspberry Pi and start teaching code or computing in general at an earlier age.

kano-init is a script to initialize a fresh installation of the Kanux OS on a Kano kit. It is based mostly on the raspi-config tool from Alex Bradbury. kano-init needs a Debian Jessie system running systemd.

I have setup my RaspbPi to boot via USB and it works great with Retropie and Raspbian, but Kano boots to the logo, then the screen goes black and never recovers/boots to the dashboard. I had the same issue.
