Sep 3, 2022 · The KAC CQB is a much lighter and well balanced rifle compared to the 416. The barrel profile really distributes the light weight nicely, so it’s not front heavy, nor as tiresome to work with as other barrels/uppers. The KAC shoots smoother, and it’s very accurate as well in 11.5”. HK fit and finish is like no other.

Jan 4, 2019 · Thanks. I have a Comp M5 on my Mod 2 14.5. May order the Sand cutter today. It only took a few hundred rounds to determine the SR-16 is my favorite rifle all time. SO glad I bought 2 SR16 uppers! Have one suppressor on the way, trying to let my wallet cool down before I grab a KAC can.

Dec 1, 2020 · The 14.5 complete upper comes with the correct buffer. Buy the 14.5 upper and P&W it, then slap it on a KAC ambi lower. You're overthinking this, KAC's don't need tinkering. Have a certified KAC armorer do the P&W - it'll probably help with the warranty. PreSample Depot, Operation Parts, NS Defense, and I think D. Wilson? are all KAC armorers.

Aug 14, 2023 · I have KAC complete guns/uppers with both forge marks, although it seems the older models were predominantly Cerro forge (Keyhole). As for stripped uppers, yes, they have hit the market in small batches, but the last one was probably 1-2 years ago, and the one before that was maybe 2019(?).
