Mar 1, 2018 · My rear will be a KAC 200-600m, and researching which front sight to go with. The M4 99051 sight has good feedback, but will be more expensive. The micro has a smaller front post, both I am sure are effective. I like the micro's ability to adjust elevation with the turn of a wheel, the 99051 adjust with the normal A2 front sight tool?

Jan 24, 2014 · There are plenty of examples of 99051 front sights that are unmarked, but they're the real deal. The front sight should be able to rest at 45 degrees and 90 degrees when deployed. The 200-600 micros come in several flavors (thick base, micro base, 45 degree offsets, and there are some marked "USMC").

Nov 4, 2019 · I never have any issues zeroing at 50 yards with the KAC 99051 front and a KAC or Matech rear with the rear sight set at the 200 position. I had this happen with my Block II build the first time I put it together. I took the rail off and reinstalled it with a carry handle bridging it and the upper receiver so that the two were even with each other.

Nov 26, 2022 · If you’re looking for the Unity height and want irons, go with the T2 mount and a T2. The mount has a built rear sight (also has a front but I don’t use it) that you can use with a standard front sight. I have a KAC 99051 front that I use with it.

Dec 18, 2014 · I have one of the newer KAC taupe front sights, a rear KAC 300 micro, and three older Troy f/r sets. I like the KAC a lot more; it's much more compact while being very high quality. I agree that the KAC is overpriced, but that's what I'll buy in the future. Screw Troy. BTW, nice dog. Must be a GSD thing, mine lays the same way.
