The findings include recommendations and a new index developed by KABOOM! that estimates playspace inequity using nationally available data across 21 population, inequity, and environmental indicators.

When implemented appropriately, the KaBOOM! community-build process creates a lasting impact on the communities KaBOOM! partners with, both in terms of building capacity, enhancing community pride and cultivating leadership, as well as enhancing the play experience of neighborhood children.
