kx100 horsepower? - Kawasaki 2 Stroke - ThumperTalk
Jul 17, 2010 · An auto AWD car will lose much more than 25%. Typical rear drive automatics lose 20-25% of hp going to rear wheels. Stick shift about 15%. The only way to improve on an auto is to have a purpose built tranny that has custom valve body, better clutch packs, etc. But even on a dyno, you seem to lose more hp because you run a stall converter.
HP rating of a stock KX100? - Kawasaki 2 Stroke - ThumperTalk
Nov 15, 2006 · I'm debating getting my son a KX100 or a CRF150R for dunes riding. The perk of the CRF is my local race track will let him race the 85 class. With the KX, he has to race supermini and will get smoked. However the KX is $1000 less and cheaper to mantain. If anyone could post accurate hp numbers fo...
2014+ kx100 horsepower - Kawasaki 2 Stroke - ThumperTalk
Mar 4, 2017 · The 27-29 hp numbers were at the crank for the previous 14 bikes. So figure about 21-22hp at the rear wheel . The 14 + bikes are 24 hp at the rear wheel from what I remember seeing posted. The 19% increase was for the 85 only. Kawasaki was trying to catch up with the KTM 85. I have a 2012 kx100 for a play bikes and also rode a crf150r too.

A stock KX100 makes around 26ish. You may have picked up 1-2 hp with your mods. Nothing that you did will substantially alter the airflow through the engine. A KX100 with extensive porting and head work can make over 30 hp.
KX100 Upgrades for Woods Riding - Kawasaki 2 Stroke
Apr 7, 2017 · Hey Kawi riders! Wondering what upgrades I can do to a new KX100 will give me better performance for woods riding. I would also like to know if upgrading the exhaust/muffler actually increases overall hp instead of just transferring the powerband a bit. The 2014+ models already have 28hp. Hard to believe they can draw that much hp out of 100cc!
horsepower of a ktm 85 sx and the horsepower of a kawasaki kx100
Nov 17, 2020 · As an example, a KX100's larger 19/16" will handle obstaclem ruts etc. better than a mini's 17/14". A lot of peak HP (top end) versus a broad usable powerband that pulls you out of corners isn't necessarily faster. Edited November 17, 2020 by mlatour
KX100 Upgrade/Conversion/Motor swap. Lets discuss!
Jun 5, 2013 · If going thorough the effort why not put the biggest motor and have a bike with higher hp/weight compared to the 500's 2-strokes? However sensible me says the KDX200 is the sensible option. However not all things are that easy and would love people opinions on what you think would be the best option to swap in.
How much horsepower does a KLX 140 have? - ThumperTalk
Dec 31, 2019 · A klx140 is basically the same as a crf150 just so that I don’t cause confusion. Now in my honest opinion a kx100 or ktm105xc would be better. They have about 25 hp and weigh 150lbs and are not quite full size which is insane especially at your weight and height where the power to weight ratio would be amazing.
kx100 vs 85 for trail use - Kawasaki 2 Stroke - ThumperTalk
Nov 14, 2006 · KX100, send the cylinder and head to Clay at Munn Racing in Dallas. His modification gets rid of the hit and adds tons of low end that flows into an incredible midrange. My daughter rides this bike, she got it when she was 14 (she came off an XR100), she's now 17, only 5'2". This bike rocks. Clay can also modify the 85 to smooth out the powerband.
