The KVK-99m ( aka AN-94 from Black Ops 2 ) is a DLC weapon in Black Ops 3. It was added as an Assault Rifle during the 8 Days of Summer event. It is a three shot kill from close to medium range and a four shot from further. The iron sights are like a square with a line just like the classic AN-94 iron sights from Call of Duty Black Ops 2.

When fired from no more than 18.5 meters, the KVK 99m will three shot kill players with a damage of 35. Between 18.5 and 43 meters, the weapon inflicts 29 damage and requires four rounds to kill enemies.

Aug 19, 2021 · It’s a very interesting weapon. The inital two rounds can be very deadly if you hit both of them as well as the third shot. Without it’s unique firing mechanic, the KVK is pretty average, so taking advantage of the initial two-shot burst is critical.

I switched one class from a lmg to a kvk with extended mag,fast mags. I use it with 2 trophy systems,scavenger and engineer. I find it's a loud gun that will attract attention so lots of ammo and good defense is wise. I won't call it a camping kit but it's definitely a slow moving kit. The gun calls to the enemies 🙂.

Oct 4, 2017 · Taking the 3SK from 21.5 to 28 meters makes it pretty great out to the closer side of medium range. Quickdraw and Long Barrel are essential. Fast Hands, Optics, Stock or Laser, and Fast or Extended Mags are all good. Grip, High Cal and Rapid Fire are meh. It's like a worse KN-44 still good though just gotta try and hit with the first two shots.

Released on July 11th, 2017 [1], two new weapons were added into Black Ops III via the Supply Drop pool, those being the KVK 99m and the MAX-GL.
