KV-5 (Object 225) - A cancelled project for a super-heavy tank. Armament was to be a 107 mm ZiS-6 gun in a large turret and a machine gun in a small secondary turret. Weight was projected as about 100 tons, and the tank was to have 150–180 mm of armour.

I think Tiger E is a better 5.7 than Tiger H1 is a 5.3. Tiger H1's commander hatch weakspot is pathetic and lethal, it has worse mobility, worse armor and worse turret traverse speed. I think Tiger E's 0.4 higher BR is worth it to play 5.7 instead of 5.3.

Apr 1, 2018 · If there is a chance that you meet the KV-1 ZiS-5, then load AP by default and only use APCBC for finishing shots. Also, avoid engaging it frontally, really. The side armour is still pretty thick, but it's easier to deal with a KV-1 that does not have its gun pointed at you.

Jun 21, 2017 · The ZIS-5 is not in production. Factory #95 built one prototype to install in the KV tank. The 76 mm ZIS-5 gun was designed to use the shells of the 76 mm 3-K gun. The 76 mm 3-K gun has been out of production since July of 1940 and is still only used at the corps level.
