May 17, 2021 · Back in the day KTM sold a 450SXF with a set of SM wheels (I think in 2006). I got a set of those SM wheels and they bolt onto the latest KTM models. I remember putting this wheelset on my 2009 Husaberg FE450. The updated counterbalanced KTM/Husky 250/300 2-strokes work great on the road (no vibration). Also fun to install on the FX350 too!

Jul 1, 2020 · I have been planning a supermoto/dual sport build and have settled in on building a KTM 300EXC. I know 2 strokes are not good for street use, but I think the EXC would be a good candidate due to its more broad power delivery (so I've read, never ridden one).

My bike is the 2021 300 xc-w tpi, my buddy has the 2019 300 xc-w. Big thanks to him for the great pictures with his new iPhone, and for convincing me to upgrade my 2009 KTM 300 xc-w in dual sport trim.

Mar 12, 2020 · The 2017 (and later) KTM/Husky 300 counterbalanced engines have very little vibration which works great on the street. I have a new 2020 KTM 300XCW TPI Erzberg that runs very smooth and I am tempted to put the SM wheels on it for some street riding.
