KHHO (850 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Tacoma, Washington. The station serves the Tacoma portion of the Seattle-Tacoma radio market. The station is an affiliate of Black Information Network and is owned by iHeartMedia. The studios are in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood northwest of downtown.

Jul 29, 2014 · KTAC 85 was a popular music/top 40 station in the 1970's. I only am aware of this because my parents have some old KTAC 85 gear laying around from their 70's school days. They were oldies way before that, also. Yes, they ran a syndicated oldies format prior to simulcasting KMTT. First they came for the journalists.

I've been puzzled for a long time why KHHO 850 Tacoma doesn't show up more often here in Spokane on sunrise or sunset skip. According to the NRC Antenna Pattern Book they beam south fulltime with 10kW days & 1 kW nights.
