The subwoofer is set to "Yes" in the control panel of the receiver. The bass settings are turned all the way up and I have the front speakers set to "small". Everything is the same as before.

For $60 it probably doesnt matter what you buy because it wont get you much. If you just want to add a little bit of boom in a basic setup then the KLH probably isint a bad way to go.
