Dec 7, 2022 · Need help getting virtual tilt to work with the KL25z board. Nudge is working great no issues. I've followed the guide at http://mjrnet.org/pinscape/BuildGuideV2/BuildGuide.php?sid=tilt and set the .vbs script and enabled tilt sensitivity.

If you're planning to buy one of the commercial plunger kits, it'll have one built in. Otherwise, I recommend buying a Freescale KL25Z (which costs about $15) and installing the Pinscape software (free). The KL25Z comes fully assembled; all you have to do is plug in a USB cable.

Auto-centering: If you could mount the KL25Z perfectly flat in your cabinet, it would read "zero" on the X and Y axes all the time naturally. If you have even a slight tilt, though, Earth's gravity will register as a slight constant pull on these axes.

Apr 29, 2024 · I am running a virtapin plunger with the kl25z. Nudge works as expected but I cannot get a tilt if I were to drop it from the statue of liberty. I have run the nudge test and calibration script and it shows for tilt sensitivity 0.00 no matter how hard I shake it.

Mar 17, 2023 · For tilt, you will have to install a tilt bob (a cheap piece) and run it to the kl25z, then set your sensitivity.

Feb 5, 2024 · Does anyone know if there are any plans to fix the tilt in vpx to work again with the KL25Z board? Really sucks this had not been working. I'm on the latest RC1.

Feb 28, 2024 · I just got a kl25z today, for now it's just for nudging, default nudging can best be described as cheating, is there an ideal setup that gets it closer to real? Or is it something that is different for everyone?

Oct 15, 2021 · Yes it can. I have a KL25Z for nudging, and real tilt bob (all of my buttons use a Keywiz), and I have a gamepad for a plunger.

Just add your Williams/Bally/Stern shooter and enjoy Plunger functionality as well as Nudge and Tilt functionality with VPX, Pinball FX, or any software that uses the X/Y/Z axis for pinball controls. The kit also supports up to 22 buttons (wiring not included but simple to configure).
