Here are the major changes available in the Plasma 6.1 beta: Added a configurable edge barrier between screens, to make it easier to hit UI elements touching the edges between screens. This also allows auto-hide panels on edges between screens to work properly.

Today we are bringing you the preview version of KDE's Plasma 5.27 release. Plasma 5.27 Beta is aimed at testers, developers, and bug-hunters. As well as our lightweight and feature rich Linux Desktop this release adds a Bigscreen version of Plasma for use on televisions.

Nov 29, 2023 · A second beta version of KDE Plasma 6, KDE Frameworks 6, and KDE Gear 24.02 will be available for public testing later this year on December 20th. In early 2024, two Release Candidate (RC) versions will be ready for public testing on January 10th and January 31st respectively.
