It was passed on to my father Rick Dowling in the 1980s when he started the KD Bar brand. The K for Krueger to honor my late grandfather and D for Dowling.

When chilies are soft put chilies in blender in blender with Mexican oregano, cumin, salt and pepper, 2 cloves of garlic and a cup or so of water chilies were soaked in. Blend till smooth and then pour through fine mesh strainer.
