The Omni-Cell™ is a demountable system for transmission measurements of liquids, pastes, and mulls. A wide range of window materials are available to cover spectral ranges from the UV to the Far-IR and THz ranges. The Omni-Cell is comprised of a cell body and window assembly. For a complete cell both parts must be ordered individually.

Fixed 5 mm pathlength FTIR liquid cell. This cell is used for quantitative analysis of volatile liquids and conveniently slides into the cassette holder than comes standard with all Shimadzu FTIR models. Sample is sandwiched between two KBr salt plates and the 5 mm spacer for analysis.

Potassium Bromide (KBr) Windows are ideal for FTIR spectroscopy. KBr has a slightly more extensive spectral range than Sodium Chloride (NaCl) and has excellent transmission from 250nm – 26μm. Its index of refraction varies from 1.46 - 1.59 over this range.

This Preassembled Sealed Liquid Cell is a rectangular cell with potassium bromide windows and has a 0.5 mm path length. Sealed liquid cells have a corrosion-resistant construction, making them ideal for highly volatile samples.

Permanently sealed liquid cell, KBr, 0.5mm pathlength. For FTIR and dispersive methods. Our sealed liquid cells comprise a corrosion resistant stainless steel housing in which the cuvette is permanently mounted and sealed.

Demountable liquid cell for FTIR analysis of volatile liquids. Sample is injected through luer ports and sandwiched between KBr windows and a spacer of desired thickness. This cell slides directly into the cassette holder that comes standard with all Shimadzu FTIR models and can be completely disassembled for easy cleaning.
