The K50M submachine-gun was produced in North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It was created by converting Type 50 submachine-guns supplied by China. The Type 50 was the Chinese version of the Soviet PPSh 41. The K50M dispensed with the original wooden stock, replacing it with a sliding wire butt and wooden pistol-grip.
