The Krupp K5 was a heavy railway gun used by Nazi Germany throughout World War II. Krupp 's K5 series were consistent in mounting a 21.5-metre-long (71 ft) gun barrel in a fixed mounting with only vertical elevation of the weapon.

The K5 is a compact, lightweight pistol with an unconventional trigger mechanism called "fast action". The frame is made of forged 7075-T6 aluminum alloy with a matte anodized finish, while the slide is constructed out of forged 4140 steel with a matte finish.

Built by German steelmakers Krupp, K5 railway guns were positioned in Northern France from 1940 onwards originally to provide fire support for Operation Sealion (the German invasion of Britain) and later to fire 28cm shells across the English Channel to Dover.
